predictable game.

17 papers down. one more to go. i can see my efforts against results graph as inversely proportional again but i'm beyond despondent already lahh. these two days have been good. (: haha today on the home i saw two painters painting flats. looked quite fun, like a large-scale colouring project. was musing on it but guess the painters dont look forward to it lahh. i mean, can you imagine painting half your life away? call me naive but the prospect of a routine nine-to-five job scares me. i've had this conversation with gen before and her brilliant suggestion was that i could study the wildlife in the jungle. this way, life wouldn't be dull. so today watch the python lay eggs, the next day watch gorilla give birth, the day after that watch the butterfly undergo metamorphosis. haha i thrive on changes to spice up life lahh.

one day this week as i got up at my unearthly hour, i accidentally interrupted a cockroach couple's quality time by turning on the kitchen light. i did it again the next morning. whoops. then last night i disrupted a mother-child lizard bonding session on my toilet ceiling. i didnt mean to, really. oh lately my mother's warning me to stop cracking my knuckles or my future husband will not be able to fit the engagement ring onto my finger. habit lahh. and my bro declared that he's happy for me when he saw me watching this tv show without my books sprawled in front of me. thanks man. by the way i fell asleep at dinner yesterday. how unglam.

i play a little game;
i play it like a spell.
it brings both pleasure and pain;
as i realised, the deeper i fell.

there are secrets to hide and rules to abide
and things that you dont see;
to make you play or give it away,
predictable, it better not be.
